Red Dot vs Iron Sights

Tl;dr: Save up and get a dot. Once you get past the learning curve, a dot will help you shoot faster, shoot more accurately, and lets you see more of the target. Dots have essentially superseded everything that iron sights do.**

Additionally, considering many guns can allow for back up irons sights, the argument of Irons vs Red Dot is superfluous as you can have both.

Red dots are essentially the only cheat code to shooting that you can buy.

While red dots have a learning curve in comparison to iron sights, the advantages are well worth the financial cost and time investment necessary to see near immediate gains in shooting.
